“The princess Leonide (played by the talented Patricia Hurley) decides to visit Agis (Jake Odmark) in disguise of a male along with her side-kick Corine (hilarious Andea Andert) also in disguise. Remember that name Andert...she is going places!!”

'Triumph of Love' gets charming revival from Olney Theatre “Andrea Andert is a hoot as the omni-amorous Corine, bounding about the stage with extra vitality and a wealth of telling facial expressions. She can sing up a storm, too.”

The setting is the isolated garden where Hermocrates (Stephen F. Schmidt) and his sister Hesione (Helen Hedman), philosophers and ascetics, live with their nephew Agis (Jake Odmark). Agis, the exiled prince of Sparta, has spent his life preparing to assassinate Princess Léonide (Patricia Hurley), whose family usurped the throne from his. Léonide knows nothing about that; she only knows that she loves Agis and will do anything to capture his heart. To do so, she and her maid Corine (Andrea Andert) dress as men and enter the cloistered world of reason, where the residents shun the madness of love. The best performances are the broadest: Andert as a "boy" who clearly prefers being a girl”

“ Andrea Andert was the audience favorite as she "camped and vamped" her way through the role of the maid servant.

“Even more impressive are the two blond bombshells who steal the show a couple of times apiece. Andrea Andert burns up the stage as Robbie's sexpot ex-girlfriend.”

"The Wedding Singer" does offer a few legitimate delights. The choreography shows flashes of excitement, and the young, non-Equity cast executes it flawlessly... and Andrea Andert makes a vivid impression as Robbie's sleazy former fiancee Linda.”

“Robbie is depressed over being dumped by the smoky-voiced rocker-chick ex-girlfriend, played by understudy Andrea Andert at Tuesday's performance, whose "A Note from Linda" song was one of the show's comic highlights.”

“Solid comic support comes from…Andrea Andert as Linda, the trashy-sexy Material Girl who dumps Robbie as a loser.”

“As has been in cases before, the most popular characters were not leads but the supporting actors. Andrea Andert, who gave The Whitworthian an interview in last week's issue, was by far one of the strongest performers. As Linda, Robbie's slutty ex-fiancee, Andert showed off powerful vocals and impressive dance moves (a succession of splits within seconds of each other).
When Linda ripped off her skirt and did pelvic thrusts over a drunk, passed-out Robbie during her number "Let Me Come Home," it was hard to see the facial expressions of the audience.
Regardless, Andert's vixen performance was awesome, nothing short of fantastic raunchiness.”

“But the heart of the show’s comedy comes from its talented cast of supporting actors. Andrea Andert’s character, Linda, writhes around in a way that would have made the original metal babes Tawny Kitaen and Bobbi Brown proud.”

“…Finally we have "Linda," Robbie's "skanky slut" of an ex-fiancée who leaves him at the altar and then returns trying to ruin things between him and Julia. Andrea Andert plays this selfish vixen with rock n' roll vocals that have you silently partying like a rockstar in your seat. Beyond that, her bed scene with Robby was equally hot.”

“The performances that stick in the mind are… Andrea Andert as his vampy first love, Linda, who breaks his heart when she sings: “I realized you cramped my style as I crimped my hair.” …Andert exults in being a very nasty girl.”

“The character of Linda, the woman who left Hart’s character at the alter, was portrayed by Andrea Andert, one of the strongest vocals in the show. Unfortunately, she was not in many of the numbers, and I wanted to hear more.”

“Understudy Andrea Andert steals the show (a real-life cliché) as his sleazy metal-babe fiancée performing the sexy number "A Note from Linda" while jilting him at the altar. The song Robbie writes for her in response, "Somebody Kill Me Please," is also hilarious. But none of the other songs reach the bar those numbers set.”

“One character that is really able to captivate attention is Linda, Robbie's ex fiancé, played by Andrea Andert. Linda is a disastrous carnival ride in the form of a person and her lure is impossible to deny. She dances around stage like Madonna on stimulants and while it makes no sense that she dated straight-edged Robbie for seven years, she's a gem to watch.”

“Understudy Andrea Andert’s top-notch number, “A Note From Linda,” outshines all other performances.”
